KETINGGIAN DAN KUALITAS FISIK BIJI KOPI ARABIKA: ANALISIS HUBUNGAN DAN PRAKTIK PERTANIAN BERKELANJUTAN

Abstrak

Pada ketinggian tertentu, suhu dan kondisi cuaca yang mendukung dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan biji, menghasilkan rasa yang lebih kompleks dan aroma yang lebih tajam. Lebih lanjut, penanaman kopi Arabika pada ketinggian yang sesuai tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas dan produksi, tetapi juga mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan melalui konservasi tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan ketinggian terhadap kualitas fisik biji kopi Arabika. Studi dilakukan pada perkebunan kopi Arabika rakyat di Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Hasil menunjukkan kualitas mutu fisik biji kopi Arabika meliputi biji normal, rusak, peaberry dan longberry bervariasi. Ketinggian tempat berkorelasi positif terhadap berat greenbean dan berkorelasi negatif terhadap biji rusak
