Author Guidelines Jurnal Administrasi and Sosial Sains Introduction JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains, with registered number ISSN 2963-6205 (online), is a journal containing articles in the fields of administration and other social sciences. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thinking or ideas and research results achieved in the fields of administration and social sciences.  How to Write the Title, Name, and Author Address: The title of the manuscript should be written at the top of the first page, aligned center. Meanwhile, the author's name (without academic title) and the author's affiliation address should be written centered, also below the article title. Authors should provide double spacing between the title and the author's name. Furthermore, the spacing between the author's affiliation address and the abstract title should be single-spaced. Keywords should be listed below the entire abstract, for all words. They should be arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons, with a maximum of three to five words. Furthermore, the article title, written in Indonesian, must also be stated in English. The responsible author, corresponding author, or corresponding author should be listed first, followed by the second, third, and so on. Communication regarding article revisions and final statements will be sent via email to the corresponding author only. If there is more than one author, the author's name should be written separately with a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name should not be offset. If the author's name is only one word, it should be written as such. However, in the online version it will be written in two words with the same name repeatedly for metadata indexing purposes. General Manuscript Guidelines : The general guidelines for manuscripts are as follows: Manuscripts must be authentic research results that have not been published in other publications or publishers. 1) Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian as the standard language. Manuscripts must be written according to the article template. Articles should be written on A4 paper (210x297 mm), with the following margins: left 25 mm, right 20 mm, bottom 20 mm, and top 25 mm, using Times New Roman font, 12-point font size, and 1.5 line spacing. 2) Manuscripts should be typed using Microsoft Word on A4 paper, approximately 6,000-7,000 words, including figures, tables, and references. 3) Manuscripts should not contain any elements of plagiarism. The editorial board will immediately reject text that shows evidence of plagiarism. We use plagiarism software to check your manuscript. 4) Manuscripts written under the JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains guidelines (in MS Word format, use this article template) must be submitted through the online submission system using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains portal (……….) by selecting only one procedure. Then, register as one of the authors or reviewers in the "Register" section. 5) The manuscript article writing guidelines and templates can be downloaded. The article writing templates and guidelines are available in MS Word (.doc) format. 6) Online submission guidelines can be found in the online submission guidelines section below. 7) Manuscripts that do not comply with the JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains writing guidelines will be returned to the author before the review process. 8) The manuscript must contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subheadings in order): (a) article title, (b) author's name (without academic title), (c) author's affiliation and address, (d) author's email address, (e) abstract and keywords, (f) introduction, (g) research methods, (h) research findings and discussion, (i) conclusion, (j) acknowledgement, (k) references. 9) Subheadings included in the discussion section (Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion) should not be numbered. Subheadings should be written in bold and title case, using left text alignment without underlining. Subsequent expanded subheadings should be written in bold and sentence case, using left text alignment and a two-level numbering format. 10) Words from foreign languages should be written in italics. Each paragraph starts 10 mm from the left margin, with no spaces between paragraphs. All numbers should be written in Arabic numbering format, except for new sentences. 11) Tables and figures are placed in a text group after the referenced table or figure. Each figure must be given a caption and source (Figure Caption) below the figure and numbered in Arabic numbering format followed by the figure title. Each table must be given a table title (Table Caption) and numbered in Arabic numbering format above the table followed by the table title and source below the table. Attached figures must be guaranteed to be well printed in black and white ink (font size, resolution and line spacing are clearly visible). Figures, tables, and charts must be placed in the center between the text group. If they have a larger size, they can be placed in the center of the page. Tables should not contain vertical lines, while horizontal lines are only allowed for important points. Guidelines for Manuscript Body Text: Manuscript Title: The title should be informative and written concisely and clearly. It should not be open to multiple interpretations. It must accurately reflect the issue being discussed. The first word should be written in capital letters and symmetrical. The article title should not contain unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be stated first, followed by an explanation. The article title should be twelve words long, in 14-point font, bolded, and centered. Abstract: Type the English abstract here. The abstract should be written in Times New Roman 11 font. The abstract should consist of the following: main problem, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract should be written in one paragraph, without references, abbreviations/acronyms, and without footnotes. The abstract should not be written in mathematical form, as a question, or as a hypothesis. The abstract should not be copied and pasted from sentences in the manuscript. The English abstract should be a maximum of 200 words. Keywords: Minimum 3 words Introduction: The introduction outlines the fundamentals or urgency of the problem underlying the study/research, written in Times New Roman 11 font. Literature Review: The literature review is a review of related literature. As defined, a literature review serves as a review of literature (research reports, etc.) on related issues—not necessarily identical to the problem area at hand-but also includes related and collateral sources. Reference sources should consist of 80% journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. Research Methods: The study methods include data collection techniques, data sources, data analysis methods, correlation tests, and so on, written in Times New Roman 11 font. This chapter may also include the scientific formulas used for data analysis/correlation tests. Results and Discussion: The main discussion contains the results and discussion, written in Times New Roman 11 font. The results are not raw data, but rather data that has been processed/analyzed using established methods. The discussion compares the results obtained with the concepts/theories in the literature review. The results and discussion include statements, tables, figures, diagrams, graphs, sketches, and so on. A maximum of six tables and figures should be included, along with the table and figure titles and sources. Conclusion : The conclusion should be written in Times New Roman 11 font. The conclusion is a summary of the research conducted. It is not a summary of the discussion results referring to a specific theory, but rather the results of the analysis/correlation test of the data discussed. - Citation and Reference Guidelines
All data or quotations presented in the article taken from other authors' articles must include a source reference. References should be made using a reference management application such as Mendeley. This document must be submitted through the Online Submission System on the JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains e-journal portal at (…….) 1) First, authors must register as either an author or reviewer (checking their role as author or reviewer) at "…………". 2) After completing the registration steps, log in as an author and click "New Submission." The article submission process consists of five steps: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Additional Files, (5). Confirmation. 3) In the "Start" column, select Journal Section (Full Article) and check all checklists. 4) In the "Upload" column, upload the manuscript file in MS Word format. 5) In the "Enter Metadata" column, fill in all author and affiliation information, including the Journal Title, Abstract, and Indexing Keywords. 6) In the "Upload Supplementary Files" column, authors are allowed to upload additional files, statements, or other information. 7) In the "Confirm" column, if the information you entered is correct, click "Finish Submission." 8) If authors encounter difficulties during the online submission process, please contact the JASS: Jurnal Administrasi dan Sosial Sains. |
