PERAN GURU DI SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA SD NEGERI GOGO KECAMATAN PADANG TIJIKABUPATEN PIDIE
Abstrak
Schools, teachers and students are components that cannot be separated where the quality of school education depends on the existing teachers and students who take part in the learning. The teacher is the main character in channeling knowledge to his students, where in the SD Negeri Gogo school, Padang Tiji District1, learning activities. The aim of this research is to find out the role of the teacher at school in improving student achievement at SD Negeri Gogo, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency and to find out what obstacles are encountered in the teaching and learning process. This research uses a descriptive method to obtain data need to conduct field research and library research, field research is carried out in order to obtain primary data by interviewing respondents and using a list of questions that have been prepared beforehand. While library research is carried out with the intention of obtaining theoretical data, namely by examining various books and other literature that is related to the problems created. The results of the research indicate that there are still difficulties faced by teachers and students in implementing learning, especially for teachers and students . These obstacles include the lack of interest in learning from students so that the teaching and learning process has not been carried out properly, the facilities and infrastructure owned by SD Negeri Gogo Padang Tiji District are still limited, some of the existing facilities and infrastructure are in a condition that is not suitable for use/ It is suggested that the community needs to provide assistance to repair the damaged classrooms. It is suggested that the relevant parties, in this case the Education Office, immediately rehabilitate the damaged classrooms and re-equip the infrastructure. It is suggested to the students of SD Negeri Gogo Kecamata Padang Tiji to be more diligent In the teaching and learning process in order to obtain satisfactory achievements, it is suggested to the teacher council to be even more active in educating students so that they achieve more in teaching and learning activities.
