PERANAN PUSKESMAS GLUMPANG BARO DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN DI KECAMATAN GLUMPANG BARO KABUPATEN PIDIE

Abstrak

The aim of health development is to live a healthy life for every resident in order to realize an optimal degree of public health as one of the elements of the general welfare of the National goals. Health development is aimed at improving health services, improving the quality of community nutrition in a preventive and curative manner by bringing health services closer to the community, especially in the field of environmental health. However, based on the fact that all of these things have not been carried out optimally because there are still several inhibiting factors. The purpose of conducting this research is to find out the extent of the role of the Community Health Center in improving environmental health in Glumpang Baro District, Pidie Regency and what obstacles are encountered in improving environmental health. This research uses a descriptive method. To obtain data it is necessary to carry out field research and library research. All data obtained was processed and analyzed using a qualitative approach. From the results of the study it was found that the Glumpang Baro Health Center had not fully played a role in improving environmental health. The obstacles encountered include; limited personnel at the Glumpang Baro Health Center in charge of environmental health, limited funds to improve environmental health, limited quality of counseling provided to the community. environment can be improved, the Regional Government should need to increase funds, especially in the field of sanitation or environmental health at each Health Center, need to improve the quality of counseling at each Health Center in Pidie District in general and the Glumpang Baro Health Center in particular so that people can maintain environmental health.
