PENGAWASAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU PADA MIN 15 PIDIE

Abstrak


High teacher competence does not arise by itself without the help of other parties, namely the head of the madrasa. The madrasa head is the person closest to the teacher and has a dual role in managing learning in the madrasa. One of the very important roles of the madrasah head in the context of increasing teacher competence is as a teacher coach or as an educational supervisor. Teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Pidie are also still not motivated, motivated and personally moved to develop their profession as teachers. There are only a few teachers who are serious, self-aware and continuously form colleagues and attend meetings to develop the profession. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method.

The results showed that the implementation of supervision carried out by the head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Pidie was good and the competence of teachers had increased significantly. The systematic implementation of teaching supervision also shows a good sequence, starting with the preparation of a joint supervision program guided by a coordinator or supervisor and then adapting it to conditions in the madrasa. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the Supervision of the Madrasa Head at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 15 Pidie has been well implemented, seen from the program at the beginning of each year with the preparation of an annual work program.
