MENGEVALUASI PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI KEPENDUDUKAN PADA DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN PIDIE

Abstrak

This study aims to evaluate the Application of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) at the Pidie Regency Population and Civil Registry Service. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation guidelines, and documentation. The sample or informants in this study were divided into two, the first being the key informant, namely the Head of the Population and Civil Registry Office of Pidie Regency, and the main informant, namely the employee of the Pidie Regency Population and Civil Registry Office. totaled 28 people consisting of 16 men and 12 women. This study intends to show whether the implementation of the Population Administration Information System is effective and efficient in providing services to the community, and what infrastructure is needed to run the system. After conducting research on the implementation of the population administration information system, from these results all of them gave a good response to the implementation of the population administration information system. Therefore the researchers concluded that the implementation of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Pidie Regency has been running effectively and efficiently. Suggestions from researchers are that the Pidie Regency Population and Civil Registry Office provides better infrastructure, provides a better internet network, and holds special training for employees or operators related to the Population Administration Information System.
