Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran autograph berbasis problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognisi siswa

Abstrak


This research is based on the rapid development in the field of education that affects the development and progress of society in various fields. Technology-based learning can be used to improve students' understanding and thinking processes and create new learning environments. Therefore, the useof problem-solving-based autograph media is considered to be able to help improve students' metacognition skills in derivative materials. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the use of problem-solving-based Autograph learning media can improve students' metacognition skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of pseudo-experimental research. The population of this study is class XI of SMAN 1 simpang Tiga, while the sample of this study is class XI1 as many as 23 students as an experimental class and class XI as many as 23 students as a control class. The sample of this study was selected using the purposive sampling technique. The main instruments in this study used Questionnaire and pre-test and post-test. Questionnaire data analysis showed that 83% of metacognition abilities experienced a high level of improvement. Meanwhile, in the data analysis of pretest and posttest tests using independent t-tests of two averages. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the use of problem-solving-based autograph media on students' metacognition ability. This is shown by the significance value with the t-test being 0.002 less than 0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the hypothesis in this study can be accepted that the use of problem-based autograph media is better than conventional learning to improve metacognition ability
